Elderly and terminally-ill patients will have the legal right to die at home if Labour wins the next election, health secretary Andy Burnham pledged today. At present more than 80 per cent of people express a wish to die in the comfort of their own home surrounded by their family and friends. But 60 per cent end up dying in hospital, reports Daniel Martin in The Daily Mail
