The Society is growing fast! The bigger we are, the more power we have to influence and re-shape laws governing Scotland.
Benefits of membership include:

- Free membership of a local HSS group.
- The chance to support and participate in campaigns on issues that matter to you.
- After a period of six months, the right to vote at the Annual General Meeting and eligibility to stand for office on the Board of Trustees and other Committees.
- Opportunities to meet people with similar views and outlook on life.
Local groups
There are currently five local HSS groups, based in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Highland (Inverness). Membership entitles you to attend their meetings, film nights, debates and social occasions. For details of future activities, click here.
