We ask Government and industry to give full support and appropriate funding – subject to overriding policy priorities - to emerging biotechnologies, so that green lights are given to research projects that could potentially lead to regenerative medicine, developments in transplantation, and new medical treatments based on nanotechnology.
We recognise the ethical, cultural and political issues generated by these biotechnologies. Accordingly we seek open debate and education to generate alignment on the value of exploring their potential.
Members can discuss our Bio-Ethics policy, or join the team.
