Annual essay competition

HSS run an annual essay competition for young people in Scotland under 19 years of age. Essays can be thoughts, ideas, reports on the subject of humanism and free thinking and should be between 500 -1000 words.

The essays will be judged in three age categories for those of: 9-12, 13-15 and 16-18 years of age.

Entries should be submitted by email before Monday 10 September 2012.

A cheque for £50 and handsome certificate will be presented to the winners at the National conference in October.
