Free class sets of selected books

A full class set of any one title and/or one copy of any DVD listed in the reviews of books of primary schools or the reviews of books for secondary schools will be sent on application, completely free of charge. We would appreciate some feedback as to their usefulness or otherwise. Support for teachers in the use of these resources can be arranged.

Contact us for more information, giving the full address of school, name of person to whom it should be addressed and number of copies required.

Members of the HSS, trained to take assemblies or work with classes are available in all parts of Scotland to visit schools. Contact us for more information.

CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

A one day training course in the teaching of Philosophy and Moral Education to pupils who opt out of R.E.will be provided by the University of Srathclyde and delivered in Edinburgh and Aberdeen as well as Glasgow. Sponsorship is available from the HSS. More details on application.
