Loughlin, Annie

I really enjoy my Humanist work and find it extremely satisfying. I have over 25 years experience of working with people of all ages, both with groups and one to one, mainly focussing on women's health, but also in the mental health arena. I am a trained Art Therapist and teach stress management. Teaching singing is also one of my passions. I feel very lucky to be living by the sea, in beautiful Argyll, with my two lovely children and fab dog!

Humanism means to me; Equality. We are all equal. William Glasstone said; 'When the power of love replaces the love of power, then we shall know peace in this world'.                              

I feel honoured and privileged to be a part of such a meaningful ceremony. I do my utmost to offer a loving, honest and accurate portrayal of the deceased, with music and words they themselves would hopefully be happy with. The deceased's family and friends play an integral and essential role in this process.

I have not, as yet, been asked to conduct a baby naming, but would be delighted to do so!
