About Me

I have been a humanist celebrant for 2 years. I specialise in funeral ceremonies. My background is mining with many years representing mineworkers in the trade union movement. I have many years experience of public speaking.

Funerals

I feel strongly that every individual has had a life of worth and value.

My approach to funerals is to conduct an in-depth interview with the family so that I can get inside the character of the deceased. The resulting eulogy will subsequently highlight the contribution he/she has made to the lives of family and friends.

I have many favourite poems from which I select with the family's approval a piece that reflects the character and philosophy of the deceased.

I have no hang-ups about music and play whatever the family and I consider suitable.
